The past two months was very much icy cold outdoors activities with soccer (our main winter sport)
ministry been the tool we used to share the Gospel. My soccer coaching I use mainly to connect with many not yet believers from ages 8 years – 29 years soccer players both males and females during these months.
The main verse added to the gospel I shared was 1 Timothy 4:8.
This verse once shared is often challenged by athletes and i love explaining the meaning of God’s word to athletes and coaches before or after sessions. Thus far more than 60 athletes over the 3 months (May – mid July) came to understand that physical activity has some value. They then all made commitments live outthe latter part of the 1 Timothy 4:8 verse striving to live godly on and off the sport field lives to be able to experience heaven after life on this earth. My prayer is that these athletes receive the ultimate crown one day through ongoing prayer, mentoring and discipleship in hope this lifestyle get multiplied through many more athletes making this choice of lifestyle. This lifestyle I shared amongst our african sport leaders with reports of hundred of athletes around Africa already making a commitment to follow Christ Jesus!
In South Africa the mid year winter school holidays in July month gives us access to many youth around the country. The weather conditions are just too challenging to walk to school in our heavy rainfall and ice cold Atlantic sea air hovering relentlessly over our communities. Many of our homeless people die due to cold weather conditions unfortunately and yearly we lose many of our soup kitchen people we feed weekly to the harsh winter climate. The blessed warm beanies / hats brings comfort to our old folk and youth.
GOD continued to keep me healthy through this cold season and so thankful for His grace.
I was graced with an opportunity to minister to youth in a poverty stricken community & God did an amazing work witnessing youth & adults deciding to repent and follow Christ.
Thus said… due to many different circumstances this is a critical time of need for www.kingdomsportsministry.org and myself. Therefore, I am asking that you consider supporting us with your prayers, but also through finances.
We are now seeking 5 people who will contribute $100/month (…but any amount large or small will be a tremendous encouragement and blessing) so that we can continue God’s work. You may give through the CSRM website https://csrm.z2systems.com/survey.jsp?surveyId=5& or through
